Ifeyinwa Rhodes, the wife of former governorship candidate of the Labour Party in Lagos State, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour has tendered a heartfelt apology to an ex-worker who called her out recently for not paying his salaries.
Top Society reports that an X user, Chika Jones, on Monday called out Ify Rhodes-Vivour over alleged debt for over eight months.
Jones, who worked as a writer and social media manager for Afroscientric.com, a project owned by Rhodes-Vivour’s wife, said he was owed for several months and eventually not paid.
Jones said he tried to reach out to Mr Rhodes-Vivour for intervention but got no response.
He also said he did not bring the issue up in the build-up to the 2023 elections because he did not want it to be politicised.
