Watch Moment Burna Boy Angrily Storms Off Stage During Performance In Ivory Coast

A video showing the moment Nigerian Grammy award-winning singer, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, angrily stormed off the stage during his performance in Ivory Coast has surfaced on social media.

In the viral video, the ‘City Boy’ crooner could be seen walking out of the stage in Ivory Coast following a sound malfunction on stage.

The Port-Harcourt born singer stormed off stage while the music enthusiasts were shouting at the top of their voices.

He was later seen angrily yelling at his assistant to drive him out of the event venue.

Meanwhile,  Burna Boy  is set to make history as the first Nigerian singer to perform at the 2024 Grammy Award ceremony.

The 32-year-old was announced alongside Luke Combs and Travis Scott on Monday morning by the Recording Academy.

“Attention: African Giant @BurnaBoy will take the #GRAMMYs stage on Sunday, February 4th at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT on @CBS,”

the Grammy organisers wrote on their X handle.

Other performers earlier announced include Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, and Dua Lipa.

Burna Boy was nominated in three categories at the 66th Grammys – Best Melodic Rap Performance for ‘Sitting’ On Top Of The World,’Best Global Music Performance for ‘Alone,’ and Best African Music Performance for ‘City Boys.’

The 66th Grammy Awards will be held on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
