‘I Am Now An Upcoming Artiste’ – 2Baba Writes To Late Sound Sultan As He Remembers Him

Nigerian music star Innocent Idibia, a.k.a 2face, has celebrated his colleague and friend, Sound Sultan, who passed away two years ago.

2baba wrote a note to him via his Instagram page as he recounted life-changing events in the industry to him.

Top Society reports that Sound Sultan died on July 11, 2021, in the United States of America after he was diagnosed with throat cancer.

Before his death, Sound Sultan underwent chemotherapy in a hospital in America.

Speaking  about their dreams before Sultan’s sudden demise, the legendary singer noted that their dream and wish for Nigerian and African music has come to pass.

He further joked about becoming an upcoming artiste, adding that he wouldn’t give up easily for the new cats.

2Baba and Sound Sultan were friends for over 20 years before the latter passed away.
