It is worth noting that the BBC documentary, made news headlines with serious allegations against TB Joshua, including accusations of rape by some members.

Reacting to the sexual allegations against late cleric,  Seun Kuti said he loves his late father’s style because he never hid his sexual affairs with other women and can never be associated with a sex scandal because he was up front.

He said,

“That is why I like Fela style, no need to be hiding, Fela was a priest too, chief priest of the Afrika Shrine but Fela was upfront, that’s why as Fela don die now we are not hearing scandal, ‘oh Fela was f*cking girls in the organisation’, we already know Fela was f*cking girls in the organisation e no hide am.”

Seun is the last child of Fela who died of AIDS on August 2, 1997 at the age of 58.

Fela’s other children are Yeni KutiFemi Kuti, Kunle Kuti, Shalewa Kuti, Motunrayo Kuti and the late Sola Kuti.

Motunrayo’s mother, Damiregba, was one of the 27 women who got married to Fela in 1978.
