Nigerian street-pop artist Habeeb Badmus, better known as Portable, has caused a stir after he was announced the winner of a celebrity boxing fight against Nollywood actor Charles Okocha on Wednesday.
The singer emerged victorious after the fourth round in the 40-minute fight, which was hosted by Heritage Boxing Entertainment at Landmark Beach in Victoria Island, Lagos State.

The duo, before the fight, had clashed online after Portable accused Charles of shortchanging him and pocketed a whopping 40 million Naira from some promoters for a show in Abuja.
According to Portable, Okocha cheated him out of the money, only sending him a small amount, contrary to the initial contract agreement they had.
In response, Okocha claimed he simply invited Portable as a guest, explaining that he flew the singer from Lagos to Abuja for the event.
He further stressed that there was no formal agreement with Portable, so he paid him what he thought was reasonable – 5 million Naira.
However, Portable disagreed with his statement, challenging Okocha to a face-off in Lagos.
