President Bola Tinubu has directed the swift distribution of long-awaited stipends, aiming to ease the financial strain on more than 400,000 N-Power beneficiaries across the country.
The directive came on the heels of the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation’s completion of a meticulous verification exercise.
The announcement, which reached the beneficiaries on Wednesday night, was a welcomed development for those who have patiently awaited the release of their stipends. The beneficiaries, spanning various regions of the country, expressed their relief and gratitude for the much-anticipated resolution to the protracted issue.
Mr. Rasheed Olanrewaju Zubair, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, conveyed the president’s directive in an official statement released on Friday.
The Minister’s Special Adviser extended warm wishes to the beneficiaries, acknowledging the challenges they faced during the extended waiting period. In her statement, she expressed hopes for a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year, urging the beneficiaries to enjoy the festive season with their loved ones.

A beneficiary, Aminu Muhammed from Kano said in a message to the Minister,
“Thank you Mr President and the Honourable Minister for fulfilling your promise, I just received my alert.
“The same confirmation of alert receipt came from Sanni Baba in Bauchi, Uche Nnaji from Enugu, Kayode Babatunde in Ibadan and Kolo Nda from Niger state among about 400,000 beneficiaries who successfully went through the verification process and got paid,” the statement read.
