It was a beautiful experience over the weekend, when the Aareonakakanfo of Yoruba land, Iba Gani Abiodun Ige Adams, tied the knot with his delectable wife, Joy Onojaife.

The private ceremony which was a beauty to behold was held at the bride’s home in Lagos as culture was mixed with royalty and tradition mixed with honour.

Top Society reports that Families, friends and associates of the Yoruba generalissimo gathered to rejoice and share in the good moment with the bride and the groom.

Amongst top dignitaries that graced the event includes, the Parakoyi Aareonakakanfo of Yorubaland, Prof. Kolawole Raheem, led other members of the Aare-In-Council, including Atoloye Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Babajide Tanimowo; Barejiro Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Dauda Asikolaye; Asoju Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Yinka Oguntimehin; and Akinrogun Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Kazeem Hamzat.

Others were former chief press secretary to Governor Rotimi Akeredolu; Olusegun Ajiboye; member of the Olokun Festival Foundation, Ambassador Olugbenga Onasanya; Aare’s aides on media, Kehinde Aderemi, special duties, Samson Oseni, and on Gani Adams Foundation, Tolu Ajibade.

The Aare’s wife is the daughter of Lagos-based architect, Lucky Onojaife, and a former Miss Delta and graduate of physiology from Delta State University.

She had both elementary and secondary school education in Lagos at Queen Maris College.

She is presently studying for a master’s degree and was crowned the Most Beautiful Girl in Urhoboland in 2012.

The Aare married his first wife Mojisola in October 2003. The wedding was held at LTV Ground, Ikeja. The couple welcomed twins in 2020. The marriage has since ended.
