Nigerian singer Okafor Uchenna Victor, better known as Mr Real, has called out colleagues D’banj and Mr Eazi over alleged royalty debt.
Mr Real, in the latest episode of the Terms And Conditions podcast, claimed D’banj and Mr Eazi are yet to pay him for working with them on their songs’ Issa Banger’ and ‘Overload.’
According to Mr Real, neither singer has refused to pick up his calls nor replied to his messages since the song blew.
He said that even though the songs he made for the singers were used in American movies, he was called ungrateful for making demands.

He stressed that although there was no signed contract, nothing was given to him as compensation.
In his words,
“I have a song with D’banj. I was the one that brought my producer, Cracker and Slimcase, on board, and we made that song [‘Issa Banger’].
“The song blew. And we shot the video with love and all. I’m not saying I’m being ungrateful for what you’ve done. But give me what is rightly mine. It’s my right.
“The song is being used in movies, even American movies, and I haven’t received any royalty.”
Mr Real added that he immediately sent his vocals to Mr Eazi, who called him for another feature with Legendary Beatz despite not settling him for the first.

He said,
“And the truth is that these people [my colleagues] know what they are doing. The same Mr Eazi called me for another feature with Legendury Beatz. The two features he called me for, I didn’t waste time before sending my vocals to him. There is this saying that when you do a favour, you don’t expect them to do something in return. Omo, me I dey expect o. When I do you a favour, I expect you to render same to me.”
He stressed that he is not supposed to grovel for something the singers ought to give after a job weldone.
“We also need their kind of money. We want to live the Island life too. You guys should help us. I’m not calling you out for anything but you should know you’re supposed to do this. I know if I message you, you won’t answer me. If I call D’banj, he will not pick up my call. Mr Eazi no dey pick my call,”
he concluded.
