Margaret Adeseye, the Head of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, released a statement confirming the destructive aftermath of the inferno.
Goods valued at millions of naira, including key lock/cylinders, decoration fittings, and Christmas items, were consumed by the flames. However, Adeseye emphasized that the prompt response of the firefighters played a crucial role in containing the blaze, averting the potential spread to the upper floors of the affected structures.
