The Supreme Court has concluded the hearing of an appeal filed by Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, challenging the tribunal’s decision affirming President Bola Tinubu’s electoral victory.

The seven-man panel, led by John Inyang Okoro, has reserved judgment, stating that the date of the final decision will be communicated to the parties involved.

The panel, comprising distinguished jurists such as Uwani Aji, Mohammed Garba, Ibrahim Saulawa, Adamu Jauro, Abubakar Tijjani, and Emmanuel Agim, meticulously examined the arguments put forth by the counsels representing the involved parties during the legal proceedings.

Livy Uzoukwu, the lead counsel for Peter Obi, passionately advocated for the court to consider and deliberate on the appeal.
