Amidst ongoing controversy in Ondo State concerning the prolonged absence of the Governor subsequent to his return from a medical leave, the leading opposition party, PDP, has set a 3-day deadline for Governor Akeredolu to return or face street protests. Meanwhile, concerned stakeholders have voiced inquiries about the Governor’s alleged location in Ibadan, Oyo State, urging him to either resume duties or tender his resignation.

While the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) intensifies its demands, the Ondo State Chapter of the APC has opted to remain silent, dismissing the PDP’s actions as “sensationalism.”
