Nigeria’s top retail lender, Unity Bank Plc has put a huge smile on her customers’ faces with cash rewards in the ongoing Verve Card National Consumer Promo, Lagos State, where the bank’s headquarter is situated.
The following customers, Nmeregini Chukwuebuka and Sharif Yusuf Mohd, won the cash price of N500,000 and N150,000 naira respectively. The other participants at the August draw also won prizes including fuel vouchers, electricity payments, shopping vouchers, etc.
Organized by the well known payment processor, Verve Card Services Limited, the promo began in August 2023, and is expected to go on till January 2024.
This promo provides opportunity for all Unity Bank’s Verve cardholders, both active and inactive, to stand a chance to win the different categories of prizes. However, the activist verve card customers stands more chances to win than others. Inactive customers are therefore advised to activate their Verve Cards and increase their frequency of transactions across any transaction channels – POS, ATM and WEB in order to increase their chances of winning.
Unity Bank Verve card customers are also instructed to perform at least two additional transactions with their Verve cards every week. I.e: frequent transaction is the pre requisite for winning any of the category prices.
Head of E-Business, Eghomware Iyamu congratulated the winners and also commended Verve Card for such great initiative. Iyamu noted that the promo is intended to drive the uptake of technology, e-banking and financial inclusion.
He expressed satisfaction with the partnership that exists between the organization and Unity Bank which has been mutually beneficial in terms of increased adoption of the cashless society, digital payment and convenient Banking.
Iyamu stated:

At his closing statement, Iyamu beckoned on Unity Bank customers to hurry and get their own their Verve cards activated as this would enhance their overall banking experience.
