Atiku’s Lawyer Declares Tinubu’s  Certificate Forged

A lawyer representing the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, in the 2023 general elections has accused President Bola Tinubu of submitting a forged degree certificate to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) before the election.

Certificate Forgery: Nigeria’s Reputation at Stake Under Tinubu – Atiku

The lawyer, Kalu Kalu, made this explosive allegation during a press conference convened by Atiku Abubakar after the Chicago State University released President Tinubu’s academic records to him.

Despite vehement denials by President Tinubu and his supporters, Kalu asserted that the released documents substantiate the forgery claims. According to him, the documents reveal several discrepancies and inconsistencies that cast doubt on the authenticity of the certificate submitted to INEC by President Tinubu.

Kalu Kalu outlined the key points from the documents that he believes incriminate President Tinubu:

The certificate President Tinubu presented to INEC appears to have been forged.

• The qualifying certificate from South West College to Chicago State University bears a female name, indicating that it does not belong to Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

• The Chicago State University admission form suggests that Bola Ahmed Tinubu attended Government College Lagos and graduated in 1970, even though the school was established in 1974.

• The documents indicate that the owner of the certificate is a black American, contradicting President Tinubu’s claim of not having dual citizenship.

• Discrepancies between the name on the document submitted to INEC and President Tinubu’s NYSC certificate have raised further questions.

This revelation comes as former Vice President Atiku Abubakar is pursuing legal action to overturn President Tinubu’s election victory, following the dismissal of his petition by the Presidential Election Tribunal.

As part of his strategy, Atiku’s legal team filed a case in the United States, resulting in the release of these controversial academic records.
